The longer career

  • 1986

    Welsh hip hop, from zero

    Rapping in Cardiff before there was a scene to join. He and DJ Jaffa met in 1986 and are jointly credited as the founders of hip hop in Wales.

  • 1990

    Blond Ambition

    Technotronic opened Madonna's Blond Ambition World Tour, including Wembley Stadium in July 1990. Stadium rooms, from a standing start.

  • 2000

    Me One on Island

    The album As Far As I'm Concerned, released on Island Records. A real hip hop record with real guests.

  • 2000

    In My Room

    The single with Michelle Gayle reached No. 19 on the Official UK Hip Hop and R&B chart. It samples the Beach Boys.

  • 2018

    Musicated Records

    His own label, working in garage and soulful house. He still writes and produces as well as performing.

  • 2024

    Honoured at home

    Wales gave him the Welsh Music Prize Inspiration Award, shared with DJ Jaffa, at the Wales Millennium Centre.

  • 2026

    Signed to Universal

    Recording again as Me One. New material in development.

He tours the official Eric Martin and Technotronic DJ set. Original Technotronic material mixed with contemporary records, his rap live over the top. Clubs, festivals, brand activations, private events.

He is also recording again as Me One.
