Bio

About.

UK-based musician, songwriter, music producer and DJ. A founding member of Technotronic and owner of Musicated Records.

Eric Martin

Three decades on the decks.
A new voice on the mic.

Eric Martin is the rare working artist who carries the pedigree of a Pump Up The Jam-era house pioneer and the creative restlessness of a modern melodic MC / producer. Two languages, same craftsman. Bookable as either. Often both.

Three decades of writing, producing and remixing — across house, hip-hop, soul, reggae and dance.

Eric started as a writer/producer at Zomba/Jive Records, then came to fame as a founding member of the seminal '90s house act Technotronic, co-writing their classic Pump Up The Jam, The Album — over 14 million sales worldwide in its first year.

His first solo project, As Far As I'm Concerned, landed on Island Records with features from Group Home, Tony Touch, Evil Dee and The Roots — and was shortlisted for the Mercury Music Prize.

Production credits since include Maxi Priest, Akil The MC (Jurassic 5), Capleton, Shaun Escoffery and Jeff Beck.

Today he tours the official, ground-breaking Eric Martin / Technotronic DJ Set around the globe, runs Musicated Records — a label specialising in classic, deep and soulful house with multiple #1 spots on the Traxsource Garage chart — and operates the label's TV / Film Department, currently placing the Musicated catalogue across VH1, E!, NBA TV, MTV and Hollyoaks.

In 2024 he received the Welsh Music Prize — Inspiration Award in recognition of his services to Technotronic's Pump Up The Jam album.

In 2026 he signed a new artist deal with Universal. The next release as Me OneDivide and Conquer — is on the way.
